Hope Leonard
Hope Leonard is a sound artist from Indianapolis who composes for multi-channel sound systems. Currently studying at the Department of Music and Arts Technology on the IUPUI Campus, Hope is developing skills in different areas of music technology. She is also pursuing certification as a Psychologist and uses that knowledge in her creative sound works.
Hope wants to bridge the gap between sound and the mind to learn more about the impact of auditory signals on the human condition. Field-recording practices, spatial audio techniques, and multi-channel systems are her primary ways to experimentally create sound compositions.
