Richard Gilliam

Richard Gilliam is a producer/musician who is studying Music Technology at IUPUI. He started his journey into music production at the age of 12 while using the family’s Windows computer using a DAW called “Sonar 5”. Ever since then, he has progressed to working on software such as Garage band, ProTools, and Logic Pro X. He is currently studying how to produce music on Ableton Live 11.

Richard has always had an interest in music from Alternative Rock and Pop to R&B and Hip/Hop. From playing the piano and learning the guitar, he is taking melodic and instrumental influence from the likes of Tame Impala, Pierre Bourne, and Miguel. After college, Richard want to write and produce music for other artists. Richard makes his own music in his spare time and is open to collaborate and work with other producers.
